Professor Henrietta Moore
Professor Dame Henrietta L. Moore is a cultural theorist and social anthropologist. She is the Director of the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity, where she also holds the Chair in Culture, Philosophy and Design. Her work focuses on developing new approaches to prosperity that look beyond economic growth to wellbeing, environmental sustainability, institutional change and social justice.
Professor Moore is the co-founder and chair of SHM Productions, a strategy and insight consultancy based in London, a founding trustee of the SHM Foundation, and a trustee of the Barbican Centre Trust in London. She is a Fellow of the British Academy, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Academician of the Learned Societies for the Social Sciences, a Member of Defra’s Science Advisory Council, and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
